Efforts are underway to save the Statler Towers downtown, but the bankruptcy court says it’s time to close up shop. Chapter 11 trustees say the 86 year old building has no tenants. The gas and water has also been turned off. Bankruptcy trustees are looking to City Hall officials to step in and possibly save the historic building.
