A Science Hill High School musician is looking to make her mark in the media.
Clarinetist Ayanna Alexander dreams of one day becoming a magazine editor.
She’s studying with Presidential Classroom Communications and Journalism Program in Washington DC July 13-19th . The Presidential Classroom provides civic education programs for outstanding high school students.
Alexander, an aspiring writer will cover Capitol Hill, while attending college level classes.
The Science Hill junior has a 3.6 grade point average and volunteers with the Beta Club.
