05/07/18 : Univ. of Florida Black greeks manhandled for strolling at graduation

They may have survived “crossing the burning sands,” but crossing the stage to graduate proved to be a greater challenge for some University of Florida seniors.Tribune Digital Editor Nicki Mayo talks with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. member Nafeesah Attah, one of the students that was physically yanked from the stage for strolling.  The Univ. of Florida president W. Kent Fuchs president tweeted an apology to the students being manhandled during their “walks” Saturday.
