The Unauthorized Saved By The Bell Movie airs Monday night on Lifetime and I’m totally stoked.
Yes, I went digging in the crates for my 90’s slang and slouch socks from grade school. Don’t judge me. The “girl next door” character Kelly Kapowski was my fav, and my adoration for A.C Slater rivaled my boy band crush on Kris Kross. Yep it was THAT serious.
Here are five fun reasons I’m looking forward to watching this crazy movie.
1. A.C. Slater was my first crush. Mario Lopez was such a hottie then and now.
2. Kelly and Lisa totally motivated me to become a cheerleader. Go Bayside!
3. I loved the Jesse Spano girl power. I am woman, hear me roar!
4. I memorized the choreography for the Hot Sundae music video.
5. OMG if they sing “Friends Forever” I’m going to start crying.
BONUS. If it’s “unauthorized” you KNOW it’s going to be HIGH comedy. Plus it’s on Lifetime! The network known for going waaaaaayyyyyy over the top with every movie. This is going to be hilarious.
