Gas prices in the Tri-Cities continue to increase despite the fact oil refineries along the Texas Gulf Coast escaped much of Hurricane Ike’s wrath.
The average gas price in the Tri-Cities is $4.08 a gallon.
It’s an issue driving many gas buyers to sound off online on the Tricities.com Pump Patrol in the Wallet Watch Blog.
The map shows the high and low gas prices across the Tri-Cities.
Dozens of gas buyers across the area are logging on and reporting regular gas prices from Rogersville, Kingsport and Johnson City.
The orange hues in Tennessee represent prices between $3.83 and $4.03.
A great deal of the yellow area across Virginia represents prices between $3.73 and $3.83.
