As Philadelphia students eased into the 2017-2018 academic year, members of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.’s Nu Sigma Chapter organized a book bag and tie drive to help those in need of school supplies. This is the second year for the effort based at the Spruance Elementary School. The school’s principal and Nu Sigma Chapter Education Director Kwand T. Lang explains how several organizations came together to make the August 2017 event a success for the youths.
