Black Lives Matter (BLM) Pennsylvania and the Justice for David Jones Coalition protesters gathered Sunday afternoon outside and Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 5 fundraiser for officer Ryan Pownall.
The protesters expressed issue with the fundraiser for the officer involved in the shooting death of David Jones, who was shot June 8 during a traffic stop and died soon after.
“You’re celebrating someone that’s killing Black people,” said Asa Khalif of the BLM Pennsylvania organization.
