Welp it’s been one heck of an exciting birthday weekend. Since I asked for social media birthday love, I wanted to share some of the BEST shout outs from my Facebook friends. See and I bet you thought I ignored those messages. Not at all. I went through and “liked” nearly 500 posts.

The “you’re my favorite reporter” shout outs really make me feel appreciated and put me on cloud nine.
Like it seriously warms my heart when people say they love my work on camera, on-air or even in the classroom.
Then you get the leadership pat on the back from those that came before you. It’s good to be the Queen.
Yep I know people! These celebrity shout outs totally ROCK!
Then your mentee tells you you’re freaking awesome and you can’t stop blushing. I’m SO glad I told this young man to go to my alma mater Syracuse University.
And my former “The List” family and WNAV Radio folks are always in my corner with a smile. and cyber hug.
A much needed hug considering I just buried a good friend.
BTW… runners are the happiest people in the world.
It never hurts when the well wishes come from Delta Sigma Theta sorors.
Plus Seton Keough High School sisters are EVERYTHING!
Then there’s always the old prom date that reminds you that he knows you better than most… down to dropping your government name. lol
Then the coworkers remind you that eventually you will have to return to work. Welp at least I’ll have a hug waiting for me when I get to The Hill.
And it never hurts when two of the hottest bachelors in Baltimore share a nice note on your Facebook wall. Bow-chick-a-wow-wow!
