04/21/14: AROUND BALTIMORE: ‘The Boondocks’ returns without creator Aaron McGruder
“The Boondocks” is finally back after a four year hiatus, but University of Maryland alum and Columbia native Aaron McGruder who created the Adult Swim cartoon will not be calling the shots, because of production disagreements with Sony. Plus, the Ironman 70.3 Eagleman triathlon comes to Maryland. June 8th, hundreds of men and women will compete along the Chesapeake Bay for the title swimming, biking and running just over 70 miles through the state. And, Spa Week returns for the tenth year in a row.
