Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown says HSBC wants to become a part of the city’s Canal Side project. The mayor is calling on the common council to hold a special meeting Wednesday afternoon to discuss the city’s land transfer agreement which is a key point in a deal to bring the bank to the waterfront.
