The Buffalo Athletic Club found itself in the center of a national peeping tom video controversy on the internet. But turns out the allegations were wrong and now the website is running a virtual retraction. The internet video featured peeping ton video of ESPN correspondent Erin Andrews undressing in what appears to be a hotel room. At first, the website said the video could have come from 69 Delaware Avenue. The same address as the downtown BAC, a restaurant and several law offices.
“It’s probably not as originally though the Buffalo Athletic Club as one of the locations. It probably wasn’t actually there,” said Ninjadude.com Editor Ryan Yono.
“I just wish the tabloid would do their due diligence and follow up on this stuff before the affect a credible name,” rebutted Buffalo Athletic Club Manager Jeremy Heim.
Erie County Sheriff’s cyber experts say the signal could have come from anywhere. But they don’t believe that specific video came from Buffalo.
