First responders clearing the scene of an early morning fire in Washington County, Tennessee.
Dispatchers tell Your Tri-Cities News Source they received a call from an eyewitness in the scene just after five o’clock.
The caller reportedly spotted flames and smoke at the old Unaka Forestry Products building located at 217 Dry Creek Road near Rock House Road.
Jonesborough, Nolichucky and Embreeville fire crews were dispatched to the scene. At least one Embreeville unit worked to clear the scene.
Jonesborough Fire officials report the fire was put out by 5:30a.m.
Fire investigators are checking the scene to find out what sparked the fire. The business owner has also been called alerted and called to the scene. ###
