Search Underway for JC Robbery Suspects

Johnson City Police are looking for two men suspected of robbing a gas station near Indian Ridge Road.
The robbery happened Tuesday night around 10:50 at the Tobacco Depot, also known as Bay’s Market at 3658 W. Market Street.
According to police reports, the store clerk said the two men entered the store and demanded money. The clerk said the men were carrying weapons.
The suspects reportedly left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Your Tri-Cities News Source went to the scene and spotted a sticker on the door indicating the staff doesn’t have more than $50 at hand.
Wednesday, Johnson City investigators are asking for the public’s help to catch the culprits.
JCPD report the men appeared to be white males, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall to 5 feet 6 inches tall. They are said to be between 140 to 150 pounds.
Authorities say both men appeared to be wearing faded green, button-up shirts. They had on faded green military style floppy hats. Both suspects also dawned bandanas over their faces.
