08/04/08: Greenevillle Warehouse Fire Suspects Head to Court

Two teens accused of setting a fire that destroyed a historic warehouse in downtown Greeneville are expected to appear in court for the first time Monday.
Investigators say the teens admitted to setting the fire that gutted an old tobacco warehouse on Main Street Thursday morning.
Jory Ramierz and Matthew Keith Rose were charged Friday. The 18 year-olds each face one count of arson and one count of destroying U.S. government property.
Detectives searched the teens’ homes and uncovered what’s being described as “a satanic shrine” with tombstones stolen from a local cemetery.
Ramierz and Rose’s federal charges stem from fire damage to the neighboring Andrew Johnson historic site.
If convicted, the Greeneville teens will spend five to 25 years behind bars.
