Some Erwin students are strutting their stuff to raise money for survivors of domestic violence.

The Unicoi County High School Key club held its second annual fashion show Friday morning for the CHIPS Family Violence Center.

David’s Bridal donated the gowns that will be sold for $25 to girls who can’t afford formal attire.

The dresses will be sold April 19th 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at CHIPS’ “Thrift Store La Thrifty Boutique.” This will be located at 219 South Main Street, Erwin, TN.

Student models say helping protect women and children in need is the “key” to their service.

“CHIPS” stands for “change is possible.”

The CHIPS program houses approximately 50 women seeking refuge from abuse. Each year CHIPS helps 200-plus survivors of domestic abuse a year with clothing, food and legal representation.
