Annapolis 4th of July Parade! – 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Come join this patriotic salute to our nation, with marching bands, fire engines old and new, cars and vans, service clubs and scouts! ROUTE: Stepoff is at Amos Garrett and West St. We’ll head down West St., wrong way around Church Circle, down Main St. and disband at Randall St.

4th of July Fireworks in Historic Annapolis – 8:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Annapolis launches its fireworks from a barge in Annapolis Harbor. This year’s Fireworks event is sponsored by First Citizens Bank and Eastport a Rockin’. Spa Creek Bridge will be closed to traffic beginning at 9:00 p.m. to create a spectator pier overlook offering an unobstructed view of the fireworks.

Inner Harbor Fireworks – 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The Ports America Chesapeake Fourth of July Celebration takes place Friday, July 4, 2014 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Entertainment is provided by Top 40s bands Thunderball at 4pm followed by the U.S. Naval Academy Band Electric Brigade at 7pm. Performances take place at the Inner Harbor Amphitheater, located at Pratt and Light streets. The fireworks show, choreographed to festive music, begins at 9:30 p.m. The display is produced by Pyrotecnico. The holiday fireworks can be viewed from several locations in downtown and the surrounding areas, including Federal Hill, Fell’s Point and Harbor East.

Solomons Independence Day fireworks – 9:15 p.m. The Solomons Business Association (SBA) proudly sponsors the annual Solomons Independence Day fireworks display, to be held on Friday, July 4th at approximately 9:15 – 9:30 p.m. (after dusk). Fireworks will be shot from a barge in the Patuxent River and can be viewed from the Riverwalk. Celebrate our nation’s birth, and show your colors all day long!

Bel Air Fireworks – 9:30 p.m. The 2014 fireworks will be launched from Rockfield Park. Spectators may watch from any permitted area in or around the Town of Bel Air. Please obey no-entry zones. If the fireworks are cancelled due to inclement weather, they will be launched instead (weather permitting) on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at approximately 9:30 p.m. See Parade Details for information about cancellation notification. City of Bowie Fireworks – 7:30 p.m. The City of Bowie and the Bowie Baysox have partnered to bring a spectacular 4th of July program to Bowie. Please join us at Prince George’s Stadium, home of the Bowie Baysox. on July 4th for an evening celebration of America’s birthday. The program begins at 7:30 p.m. when the Fabulous Hubcaps Band takes the stage to begin the celebration and ends with a fabulous fireworks show at 9:15 p.m. The Fabulous Hubcaps will take the stage again for a 30 min finale following the fireworks show.
Assateague Independence Day Carnival – 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. Location: Assateague State Park – Stephen Decatur Highway (Route 611) – Berlin, Maryland Come celebrate with us at the Assateague State Park Nature Center for our annual summer carnival. Activities will include games, crafts, nature programs, raffles, as well as great food. Don’t miss the limbo or frozen t-shirt contests or the pie eating challenge! Proceeds from this fund raising event will benefit the Assateague State Park Nature Center and Interpretive Programs. For more information call 410-641-2120 ext 13. All ages welcome.
